Show review: Stars at Bronson Centre
I decided on a spur of the moment and watch Stars play the 2nd night show in Ottawa.
I didn’t go for the first sold out show because I went to see Two Hours Traffic instead.
Even more photos on WGTS with Think About Life too.

Kanye West – 808s and Heartbreak (Review)
Alot of new releases this week.
I am really impress with the new Kanye West album “808s & Heartbreak“

Single review: Leona Lewis – Run
OK I know the song was originally done by Snow Patrol.
Love her or hate her she is very big in the UK thanks to X-Factor (UK’s version of American Idol) and while in the USA, Bleeding Love is still being played.
She just re-released her debut simply called “Spirit – Deluxe Edition” in time for the Christmas frentic holiday sale.
I still love Snow Patrol’s version.
Hearing this version by Leona made it more ballady and emotional.
Not to overshadow Snow Patrol, but they are already famous now thanks to another song which I won’t name due to being overplayed too much.
Leona version is poppy and has that big finish ending.
Easy to sing along too.
So yeah, I love this verison alot now!
Very happy that iTunes Canada has the single available now.
So no need for me to get the “Deluxe Edition” now.
Read that the album is already back to #1 in the UK.
People are going crazy just to get this version of the song.
Its already made it to #1 in the singles chart.
CD Review: The Killers – Day & Age
My pre-order for the new Killers album “Day & Age” just came out from iTunes.
I decided to get it because I wanted the bonus tracks which is the remix of Humans.
Yes I am a sucker for remixes.
Here is my fly on the wall review.
I really like Hot Fuss alot thanks to their big hit Mr.Brightside.
Their last one Sam’s Town was alright since it was Americana rock style.
Finally they release their new album called Day & Age.
From the first single Human, sounds like they are going back to what they were famous.
A US band sounding British or having UK music influence.
I find the whole album is back to the whole new wave pop sound.
I wasn’t fond of the last album.
But this might get back the old Killer fans who wasn’t happy with the last effort.
From what I’ve been reading, this might be their best album to date.
Human being their best song unless you are nitpicky with the lyric “Are we are human, are we dancer” being abit cheesy.
I like the New Order influence sound.
Bonus tracks are: Tidal Wave, Forget About What I Said and Human (Thin White Duke Club Remix)
Standout tracks:
- Losing Touch
- Spaceman
- Human
- A Dustland Fairytale and Goodnight
- Travel Well (What a epic track!)
Show Review: Sunjet, The Gales and Winter Gloves @ Cafe Dekcuf
Went to see three bands at Cafe Dekcuf on Nov 22nd. It happened to be all ages show.
I wasn’t annoyed like any typical AA shows.
Somehow this was a laid back AA show.
Bands playing were The Sunjet Records Band, The Gales and of course Winter Gloves.
Show review: Adam Saikaley, Hmmm and Europe In Colour
The show I went tonight was a electronic setting.
I went to a basement show on Friday November 21.
Its interesting when people know who you are.
While I am lost for words or abit clueless because I always forget the people who I encounter during the shows.
One of those quirky basement house shows.
