Why Radio 3??? *with a poll*

I am not going to cause chaos or drama.
Not going to slam them.
Just stating my opinion and perspective on the matter.
Ever since CBC Radio 3 was available on the internet in late 2007.
It has opened my eyes big time on the Canadian indie music scene.
CBC is a great institutions with the music and culture that we live in.
I am referring to my last post on Said The Whale about how they are not happy that they took Amanda Putz’s morning show off the schedule.
Wanting people to e-mail Radio 3 expressing their concerns.
I understand CBC’s budget cuts and the uncertain economic times.
Already there is a Facebook fan page for the lovely Amanda Putz for a update on her ongoings. (Probably someone who made it)

I love CBC Radio 3, no doubt about that.
Love Craig, Grant, Lisa, Lana and whoever is on it.
I usually wake up to her show.
Just because its the only show that is in Ottawa considering I live there.
I don’t mind the others just that they have like 3-4 Radio personalities for Vancouver and 2 for Toronto.
Its just that we need more focus and perspective in the other music city scenes besides the 2 big cities of Canada.
Have a little diversity from other cities like Montreal, Calgary, Halifax and even Yellowknife.
Its great that Amanda Putz focuses some of the Ottawa music scene.
And she is always fun, funny, nice and informative on bands and singers that I haven’t heard of yet.

So please Canadian send e-mails to feedback@cbcradio3.com and get the movement going.

Its still a great station for Canadian music.

If not maybe she can guest fill-in for CBC’s Q when Jian is away or sick.
